There is a record in the Prestonpans Death register of a "John Jones of Cockenzie" who was buried on the 5th April 1825, right next to his wife, Agnes Young. There is no indication of his age. He was buried in the the East section, 24 feet from the North wall and 4 feet from the East wall.
