Thomas Fullerton
General Notes: His age is recorded as 20 years on his Marriage Certificate, although he would have been 21 almost 22. However, there are no other Thomas Fullerton marriages in the County, and fathers name and occupation is consistent with this being our Thomas. There is a record of a death of a Thomas Fullerton of Bogbaun (Bogbane) on 21 May 1873, aged 42. Whilst the age is out by a few years this may have been our Thomas. The Informant on that death certificate was also named Thomas Fullerton from Bogabane who was present at the death. Perhaps a son (see next paragraph)? Noted events in his life were: • He worked as a Servant at the time of his marriage on 30 Aug 1848 in Bogbane, Tyrone, Ireland. • He resided at the time of his marriage on 30 Aug 1848 in Bogbane, Tyrone, Ireland. Thomas married Sarah McAnally, daughter of Thomas McAnally and Unknown, on 30 Aug 1848 in Church of Ireland, Killyman Parish, Tyrone, Ireland. (Sarah McAnally was born about 1827 and died before 27 Aug 1913.) Marriage Notes: It was a United Church of Ireland and England ceremony. Witnesses to the Ceremony were Damson Haslet (?) and Alfred Hickey. Both Thomas and Sarah made their mark indicating they could not write. |
