General Notes:
Despite George's marriage certificate showing him to be 'of Glasgow' Annie's birth certificate shows him to be born in Sydney. There is a Baptism registration for George Robertson born 11th March 1843 in Sydney showing father as John Robertson and mother, Martha Robertson.
George is buried in the Anglican Section of Rookwood Cemetery, Section BB Grave 634/635. His mother Martha Ferguson Robertson is buried with him, and his father John Robertson. The Memorial Inscription reads:
In / Loving Memory / of / George Robertson / Who died 26th Sept. 1883 / Aged 40 Years. / Also / Martha Ferguson / Robertson / Mother of the above / and beloved wife of / John Robertson. / Died July 11th 1897, / Aged 78 Years. / At Rest.
His wife Agnes is buried beside him.
