Lavinia Gertrude Deane

  General Notes:

Known to her neices and nephews (whom she helped to raise) and their children as Aunty Venie. Married a man called Lucket who was wounded in Gallipoli and died on ship - and buried at sea. Spent some years in Sydney with David Grieve her sister Rose's husband Peter Grieve's youngest brother(and with his mother Honora Grieve as well). Later David Grieve and Lavinia Luckett lived in Balina together until David died. They never married and were not considered as partners by family members.

Lavinia married Joseph Edward Luckett in 1913 in Ryde, New South Wales, Australia. (Joseph Edward Luckett was born in 1888 in Grafton, New South Wales, Australia and died on 2 Jul 1915 at Sea, Dardenelles, Ww1.). The cause of his death was Killed in Action, Gallipoli.
