bullet  General Notes:

Abraham was a miner at Pioneer in Bright in 1905. In 1914 there was a report in the Alpine Observer (21 Aug 1914) of a valuable find at the Mystery Basin, Bright by Mr Abe Lawrence. Some years before while prospecting for Pioneer Co. Abe had found some specimens near Hepburns Tunnel, and the tunnel was extended by 30 feet, but withour result. Abe returned to the site later and uncovered stone showing 4-5 ounces per ton but no further reports ensued. He was at the Rose Thistle and Shamrock mine in 1922. He was a miner living at Baker's Gully in Bright in 1924, and at Gavan St, Bright in 1937, still a miner.
