Noted events in her life were: • She worked as a Servant at the time of her marriage on 30 Sep 1864 in Cockenzie, East Lothian, Scotland. • She resided at the time of her marriage on 30 Sep 1864 in Cockenzie, East Lothian, Scotland. Jane married George Thomson, son of William Thomson and Mary Buchan, on 30 Sep 1864 in Tranent, East Lothian, Scotland. (George Thomson was born about 1843 and died on 2 Feb 1873 in Cockenzie, East Lothian, Scotland.). The cause of his death was Phthisis Pulmonalis (Tuberculosis), 2 years. Marriage Notes: Daughter Jane's Birth Record lists their marriage date as 15 September in Cockenzie, Tranent. Jane next married John Donaldson, son of William Donaldson and Margaret Coull, on 19 Apr 1880 in Cockenzie, East Lothian, Scotland. (John Donaldson was born on 23 Oct 1837 in Port Seton, East Lothian, Scotland and died after 19 Oct 1917.) |
