Mary was a convict, convicted at Worcester Assizes for a term of 7 years on 11 July 1807.

From the Oxford Journal Sat 18 Jul 1807 p. 3

At Worcester Assizes, Mary Hancox, Lydia Martin, Mary Pearsall, Maria Hopkins, and Sarah Hopkins, for feloniously stealing various pieces of printed cotton, &c. from different shops in Bromsgrove, were severally sentenced to seven years transportation...

She left England on board the Eolus in July 1808, arriving in Sydney on 26 January 1809.
