bullet  General Notes:

In the 1881 census Mary Ann's husband was in a Lunatic Asylum. She was a servant living in the household of Edith Smith, a Gelatine Plate preparer. It was just the two of them at that address.

In 1891 she was 67, widowed, and still working as a Domestic Servant, this time in the household of 85 year old Grace Coombe at 13 Trinity Asylum, Lambeth.

In 1911 she was a 78 year old Boarder in the household of Harry & Charlotte Clayton at 18 Tunstal Road, Brixton, London. She was obviously retired living on "Private means".
