It is most likely his parents were Florance Grege and Marion Walker who had a son named Alexander baptised in Corstorphine 2 May 1658. There were 2 other Alexanders baptised here between 1640 and 1660, one in 1650 (father's name Robert) and one in 1647 (father's name Alexander). The 1658 Alexander is about the same age as his bride so I am assuming it is he. One of the Witnesses at his baptism was named Alexander Grege.
