  General Notes:

I have not yet located baptism records for the two children, and it is likely there are more given the gap between these ones. Daughter Agnes was married in Cumbernauld in 1823 and it is possible the whole family was living there at that time as daughters generally lived at home until they married. Certainly there were no less than 5 Shaw marriages between April and November 1823 on the page of the register where Agnes' marriage is recorded. And there are a large number of Shaws in the 1841 census there.

  Noted events in his life were:

• He worked as a Weaver according to son John's Death Certificate.

• He worked as a Weaver according to daughter Agnes' death certificate.

Robert married Mary Johnston **. (Mary Johnston ** was born circa 1775 in prob Scotland and died before 3 Oct 1856.)
