Her middle name may have been in deference to James Thomas Morisset, who was the Police Magistrate in Bathurst around the time she was born. He had some notoriety as the Commander of the Norfolk Is Penal Colony for a time before that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Thomas_Morisset

She is buried in the Rookwood Cemetery, Presbyterian Section 5C Part 3, Row 10, Grave 8871. She is buried here with her husband William. The Inscription reads:

In Loving Memory of / My Dear Husband / W.J. ANSTISS / Died 29th May 1912 Aged 71 Years / ALSO / EMILY / Dearly Beloved Wife of the Above / Died 30 June 1920 / Aged 76 Years
