Francis William Haron
Another name for Francis was Frank Haron. General Notes: Frank Haron was an Overseer of the Grounds at the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds at Morre Park in Sydney. His son Sidney appears to have succeeded him by 1943. On Friday 28th February 1936 it was reported in the Sydney Morning Herald that Frank was elected President of the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League Club. He became a Patron and Life Member of the Club. he also managed the first towuring Wallabies football team. Noted events in his life were: • He resided at the time of the Electoral Roll in 1930 in RAS Showground, Moore Park, , Sydney, , New South Wales, Australia. • He worked as an Overseer of the RAS Showgrounds according to the Electoral Roll and his wife's death notice in 1930 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Francis married Matilda A Lincoln in 1892 in St Leonards, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. (Matilda A Lincoln died on 28 Mar 1928 in Petersham, New South Wales, Australia.) |
