John Hair

   Cause of his death was Injuries received by falling down an old Pit.

  General Notes:

John and his brother, James, married sisters.

He died in his own house from "Injuries received by falling down to the bottom of ol Pit situated on the Ponds of Keithmont in said Parish" [Whitburn]. His brother, James also died in the same incident as well as a Robert Hair, aged 44, their Uncle.

John was buried in the Whitburn Cemetery in an area that was common ground in lair D59. He is buried with his daughter Isabella.
