Cause of her death was Senile Debility/ Chronic Diarrhoea 2 months. Other names for Jane were Jane or Elizabeth Crossing, Jean Shaw and Jean C Shaw. General Notes: I have been unable to locate a baptism record for her, nor for any children born to a Thomas and Margaret Crossan. Noted events in her life were: • She worked as a Pirnfiller at the time of the Census in 1851 in Hamilton, Lanark, Scotland. • She resided at the time of the Census in 1851 in 135 Castle St, Hamilton, , Lanark, Scotland. Jane married John Shaw, son of Robert Shaw ** and Mary Johnston **. (John Shaw was born circa 1794-1801 in Barony, , Glasgow, , Lanark, Scotland and died on 3 Oct 1856 in 17 Muir St, Hamilton, , Lanark, Scotland.). The cause of his death was Chronic Bronchitis & General Debility/ several years. |
