Cause of his death was Cerebral Embolism, 3 days. General Notes: Samuel was the Manager of the Harrietville Star Dredge, which sank not long after his death in 1915. Prior to his death he and his wife Agnes had a house where the Feathertop Chalet now stands. After his death the house was relocated and attached to the back of the Post Office in Harrietville. It was for a time a B&B but is now a private residence. The explosives store that her brother Jim constructed behind the house, when it was his store, is still there.
