In 1874 she was attending school in Myrtleford, Victoria, her family having recently moved there from Bright.

She was listed as being a 'present' resident of Myrtleford and a 'usual' resident of Tallygaroopna at the time of her marriage.

Euphemia is buried in the Coburg Cemetery, COE Section C, Grave 305. Apparently she shares this resting place with her son Edward Alexander and his wife Mavis although they are not mentioned on the Headstone which reads:

In / Loving Memory / of / Our Dear Mother / EUPHEMIA HAMILTON / Beloved Wife of / Andrew P Soderblom / Died 16th Oct. 1918 / Aged 50 Years

Euphemia married Anders Petter Söderblom, son of Carl Johan Söderblom and Anna Greta Persdotter, on 4 Jul 1890 in Bright, Victoria, Australia. (Anders Petter Söderblom was born about 1859 in Uppsala, Uppsala län, Sweden and died about 1929 in prob Malaya.)

It was a Church of England Ceremony. Witnesses were Robert Leskie and A C Nuttall
