In the 1841 Census she is named as Mary. It is quite possible that this was her birth name and that Robina is some sort of nickname. It might be relevant that she and Archibald appear to have adopted Scottish naming conventions for their children but the first born daughter is named Robina, when the maternal grandmother was also Mary. Maybe the grandmother, Mary, was also known as Robina?
