Cause of his death was Myocardial Infarction / days. General Notes: Thomas worked for WD & HO Wills, the tobacco and cigarette company as a foreman during WWII. He was responsible for keeping supplies up to the troops overseas. During those years he and Vera bought land at Woy Woy, NSW, and had a weekender built which they used most weekends and public holidays. They retired there in 1954. Medical Notes: The informant on his Death Certificate was J Osborne, no relation, 55 Arnheim Rd Allambie Heights. Noted events in his life were: • He resided at at the time of his mother's death on 29 Aug 1936 in 12 Roslyn Flats, Kurrawas Ave, Coogee, , New South Wales, Australia. • He resided at the time of his death on 13 Oct 1972 in 1 Bowden Rd, Woy Woy, , New South Wales, Australia. • He worked as a Factory Foreman according to his death certificate in 1972. Thomas married Mary Vera Roche, daughter of John P Roche and Anastacia Unknown, in 1911. (Mary Vera Roche died on 20 Aug 1966 in New South Wales, Australia and was buried on 23 Aug 1966 in Catholic Cemetery, Point Clare, , New South Wales, Australia.) |
