Cause of her death was Smallpox 13 Days. General Notes: She was not in the household of her parents at the time of the 1841 Census. It is possible she was a Servant in the household of Patrick Russell, Surgeon, in Market Street, Alloa. Margaret married Robert Gardiner, son of Robert Gardiner and Mary McQueen, on 31 Mar 1854 in Lecropt, Stirling, Scotland. (Robert Gardiner was born circa 1834 in Ceres, Fife, Scotland and died on 19 May 1915 in 150 Raeberry St, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.). The cause of his death was Senility, Heart Failure. Marriage Notes: Robert was described as "from this parish" (ie Lecropt, Perthshire), Margaret from "the parish of St Mary's Edinburgh". They paid 4 shillings "to the poors funds".According to daughter Isabella's & son James' birth certificate they were married 15th April 1854 at Calderbank, and according to daughter Mary Ann's birth certificate they were married 18th April 1854 at Calderbank. |
