Mary married Henry Lawrence, son of Abraham Lawrence and Mary Anne Wall, on 1 Jun 1895 in Moor St, Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia. (Henry Lawrence was born on 11 Jul 1867 in Harrietville, Victoria, Australia and died on 4 Jun 1915 in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Africa.)

bullet  Marriage Notes:

It was a Victorian Free Church ceremony. Witnesses were C.F. Lee and Lydia Kinsaman. The Officiating Minister was Nathaniel Kinsman, so Lydia may have been his wife or sister.

At the time of the wedding Mary was about 6 months pregnant with Cyril which may explain why the wedding was in Melbourne, with no family members as witnesses, and not at a Wesleyan or Methodist church.
